Roof on our house was 20 years old. Many roofs in the neighborhood were being replaced as a result of age others from hail. I reached out to a couple of companies that were putting roofs up for an estimate. In addition I try to support local businesses as much as possible, thus I called Cedar Roofing Company. From the beginning Keith was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable and offered options which is important when you consider the magnitude and cost associated with a cedar roof. He also shared based on size, our roof did not have enough roof vents to get the appropriate circulation so his estimate included that. Keith knew from the beginning we were getting other bids, what put him above the others (besides the warranty which I'll get to) is he educated us on questions to ask. In the end based on what CRC was doing compared to the others was far and away better. Again the cheapest prices may not necessarily be the best, they were very competitive and we got more for our money. They also are one of the area suppliers to other roofers for cedar so we were able to go directly to the source for the better quality product. Keith even invited us to their business after hours to see the product he suggested, what he picked out for us for our particular job and what to look for. We also wanted to stagger the cedar shingles vs simply straight across which does cost more but looks so much better, he even saved us some money on that part of the installation. Lastly Keith filled out all the warranty information for the supplier of the cedar shake so all we had to do was sign it and send it in. In the end we got a roof that will last for 25 years and looks fantastic. If you want a grade "A" company that truly looks after your best interests and does excellent work, you will not be disappointed in Keith or Cedar Roofing Company. There is a reason they have been around for over 20+ years.
